Prison is a dark place
It is a blessing to know that ministries like Prison Fellowship are bringing light in the darkness. The scripture reminds us that we are to: “Remember those who are in prison, as though in prison with them.” Hebrews 13:3.
How often do we remember those in prison? God sees value in every person – the prisoner and the saint. This week we invite you to pray for those who are in prison, remembering the physical and spiritual darkness they are experiencing. Pray for those who work with Prison Fellowship and other prison ministries, reaching out to those who are broken, and need the light, grace, and salvation available through Jesus Christ.
Hundreds of volumes of The Preacher’s Outline & Sermon Bible® have been sent to prisons this year for use in Bible studies and Christian teaching. Pray that God’s Word will be revealed to the prisoners, empowering them to turn their lives over to Jesus.
