It is hard to believe how quickly the year has passed! Reaching the Christmas Season has encouraged us to stop and reflect on all God is doing through Leadership Ministries Worldwide. Join us in looking back on a fruitful year!
Let us share with you some highlights from 2023:
5 Core Languages Project
Over the summer, we saw completion of the Spanish translation of The Preacher’s Outline & Sermon Bible (POSB) Proverbs. This December, we look forward to receiving Hindi and Arabic translations of POSB Proverbs, as well as the Chinese translation of POSB Psalms. Learn more here.
Uganda Training Conferences
In June, we partnered with longtime Ministry Partner, Timothy Olonade, to put on training conferences in Uganda, using key LMW Resources: The POSB and The Minister’s Personal Handbook. Those discovering the POSB for the first time were glowing with newly found confidence in handling God’s Word. Learn more here.
Global Proclamation Congress for Pastoral Trainers (GPRO)
At GPRO in Panama, we were able to build connections with pastoral trainers from across the world while reconnecting with those who have already experienced the transformative power of LMW Resources. As a gift to all attendees, we provided all 44 volumes of The POSB through the LMW App, receiving an overwhelming response from pastoral trainers in need of Biblically centered resources for their own training and teaching. Equipping Pastors in Nigeria
LMW launched a print project, in partnership with indigenous ministries, to provide over 6,000 POSB volumes to help pastors, affected by violence from Boko Haram in Northern Nigeria, recover and rebuild their libraries. The printed volumes are ready for delivery and set to arrive in early January 2024. Click here to watch a preliminary update of the completed printing of POSB books.
Record Digital Distribution of Chinese Resources
Despite challenges imposed by the Chinese Government, our resources have experienced unprecedented reach with over 2.4 million downloads in the first three quarters of 2023. We are encouraged to find that LMW Resources in Chinese serve as a foundational aid to many studying of God’s word in China.
Digital 3.0 Development
“Digital 3.0” represents the next version of the LMW App and seeks to deliver the best possible digital experience of our resources and touch as many nations in as many languages as possible. In pursuit of a like-minded partner to help see our vision to fruition, we are excited to see God already opening doors. Please pray for our team as we seek wisdom for the road ahead and raise the appropriate funds for this project.
We give God the glory for what He has done through LMW in 2023. Thank you for taking an interest in our mission to equip pastors and leaders with Gospel-centered resources. We hope these developments are an encouragement that the Lord is faithful and can accomplish far more than we can imagine.
