Pastors in Malawi received training last week from Timothy Olonade, LMW’s Vice President of International Training. Their training included using The Preacher’s Outline & Sermon Bible® to learn how to prepare a biblical sermon that would speak God’s truth to the hearts of the people.

Pastors were grateful to receive this training and resources, including access to the complete Preacher’s Outline & Sermon Bible® through Lystra Global, our free online library for pastors and trainers.

Please pray for these leaders who are stepping out in faith to share God’s Word in their communities, changing hearts and minds, and growing the Kingdom of God throughout the earth.

Pray for Pastors in Baton Rouge

Flood waters swept through this Louisiana town a few weeks ago, turning streets into rivers, destroying homes, schools, hospitals and churches. We invite you to pray for pastors in that area who have lost so much, and are ministering to a flock that is struggling to recover from the devastation.

Many of these servants of God have lost everything – their homes, clothing, food, computers, phones, and entire libraries of biblical resources. They are struggling to rebuild their lives – and their churches – in the weeks ahead. As soon as the flood waters began receding, we heard from pastors who lost their Preacher’s Outline & Sermon Bible® series. They are eager to replace this critical resource that helps them preach, teach, and guide their people.

The Word into the World – Digitally

Technology is opening doors for God’s Word to spread across the globe, reaching more and more people with the gospel message.

Through Lystra Global, Leadership Ministries Worldwide’s free online library for pastors and trainers, more than 10,000 Preacher’s Outline & Sermon Bibles® have been distributed throughout 48 countries globally!

We invite you to pray with us that as pastors receive these volumes, the Word of God will become clear to them, and they will be equipped to preach and teach powerfully, growing God’s Kingdom as people answer the call to receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

Christianity is on the rise in Africa. Praise God for the opportunities He is opening there to share His Word, train pastors, and grow the Kingdom. Over the next several weeks, our Vice President of International Training, Timothy Olonade, will be illuminating the scriptures as he trains pastors and leaders in Nigeria and Malawi. Timothy tells us:

“Wherever we turn in Africa, there is a palpable cry for biblical and theocentric ministry and leadership development tools as well as preaching content development for the growing number of God’s servants. All of these needs call for our attention, in spite of the increasingly severe persecution of the Body of Christ worldwide.”

Please lift Timothy and his training team up in your prayers this week and in the weeks to come. Pray also for those who participate in the trainings, that they might be inspired and strengthened as they answer God’s call to shepherd His children. Even as Christianity is growing in Africa, there is chaos and persecution across much of the continent. Please pray for God’s message of grace and salvation to reach all of the people of Africa.
