Thank God for Christians in Sierra Leone.
Sierra Leone is one of the few African nations where Christianity is on the rise and Islam is declining. Through a partnership with missionary Dr. Mike Peper and Lt. Col. Moses Kargbo of the Sierra Leone Armed Forces, Christian chaplains in the army there will be trained and equipped to minister to their fellow soldiers. Chaplains will receive The Preacher’s Outline & Sermon Bible and What the Bible Says to the Minister, complete with several days of training led by Timothy Olonade, our Vice President of International Training.

Biblical materials for Russia
Thank God for doors that are opening in Russia.
Three pallets containing 2,265 Russian language Preacher’s Outline & Sermon Bibles, shipped last week to pastors in Moscow who are eager to learn more about how to preach effective sermons. As these pastors grow in faith and witness, the Holy Spirit is moving in the hearts of the Russian people. Please pray for the pastors who receive these resources, that they will be blessed by the Word, and that those who hear them will come to know the saving grace of Jesus Christ.
Pastors and leaders in Malawi.
Thank God for a successful training in Malawi
A cross section of Bishops, pastors and other clergy men and women attended training in Malawi last week, led by Timothy Olonade, Vice President of International Training. These leaders learned more about their call as ministers, and received training and resources to equip them for powerful, life-transforming ministry.
For the Persecuted Church
[fusion_text]November 1 and 8 are set aside for us to remember those who are persecuted for their faith in Christ.

From Timothy Olonade, Jos, Nigeria, Vice President of LMW, International Training
“As we approach the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church we urge our friends and partners to please pray for our protection as we continue to live and minister within a volatile environment. Pray that the protective hand of the Lord will cover us in the midst of danger, trials, and toils.
More people have been killed in my country in the last 6 months than in the previous 30 months, although there has been very little international reporting about our situation under a pro-Islamic government.”
Timothy has just completed pastoral training sessions in Nigeria and Malawi. This week he is in Singapore with Christian leaders from 54 countries who are dedicated to serving God by mobilizing resources and training to reveal Christ to the world.
Pray for Timothy as he travels to and from his home in Nigeria, throughout Africa and the world, training and mentoring those who faithfully serve Christ in spite of danger, hardship and trouble.
Christians worldwide are persecuted daily for continuing to follow the Savior. In fact, Christians are the most persecuted religious group in the world. Some estimates say that over 100 million Christians worldwide are persecuted for their faith.
We invite you to partner with us in prayer this week as we lift up those who suffer for their faith.

For those who serve God – in China
China Partnership is planting churches throughout China, sharing the gospel, and bringing the Chinese people to salvation through Jesus Christ. They ask that we pray for God’s grace and wisdom/discernment as they go through organizational changes, and as they plan for a major convention in Hong Kong in 2017.
For those who serve God – in developing nations
Most pastors in the developing world have approximately 1 hour of Bible training. These pastors are hungry for biblical resources that help them preach God’s Word, revealing Christ to the world. Vice President of International Training, Timothy Olonade, trains thousands of pastors in the global south annually. Often he can give them only one book, when they long for an entire library.
Please pray that we might be able to equip these pastors who have answered the call to minister to God’s people in their communities.
