Several prison ministries have requested The Preacher’s Outline & Sermon Bible^®as a resource for preaching and teaching.  As Leadership Ministries Worldwide is able to respond to their requests, we are encouraged by their response to the Word, and to the ease of using these resources in their ministry.

Recently we received letters from prisoners in Texas whose lives are being transformed. Pray for those who are imprisoned, that Christ will be revealed as they study God’s Word.

Leadership Ministries Worldwide’s goal is to provide resources and biblical training for 2 million pastors worldwide. Pray for us as we continue to develop translating partnerships that will enable us to complete the translations of Outline Bible Resources in Spanish, Chinese, Russian, Arabic, and Romanian – that the world may come to know Christ as the global church is equipped and empowered to share God’s Word.

The Grace Institute’s Will Savell traveled to Uganda last month to equip local pastors with theological resources for biblical training. The Bible Institute there will begin classes on October 16. Interest has been overwhelming, with a neighboring village also requesting biblical training to minister to new Christians in the area. Praise God for the work He is doing in Uganda and throughout Africa.

Christians in Cuba are sharing God’s love with their neighbors through intentional ministries that feed the poor, care for the forgotten, and love the fallen. Pray for the Christian pastors there as they receive biblical resources for theological education this week from The Grace Institute, equipping them to share God’s Word.

Will Savell of The Grace Institute works with pastors in Cuba who are eager to receive sound biblical and theological training. Through his connections, Leadership Ministries Worldwide is sharing The Preacher’s Outline & Sermon Bible^® with pastors who need these resources.

“Collaboration is key,” Savell says. “Leadership Ministries Worldwide produces resources that preachers are hungry for.” Putting those resources in the hands of pastors on the ground in faraway places is The Grace Institute’s specialty. Through our partnership, thousands of preachers worldwide will receive resources and training that empower them to impact lives, communities, and entire cultures with God’s Word.

“Preaching is a skill set you have to learn,” Savell says. “Having Leadership Ministries Worldwide’s preaching resources is a blessing as the pastors are learning biblical and theological material. What good is theological education for a pastor if he can’t communicate it faithfully to his congregation?”

 

Timothy Olonade, Vice President of International Training for Leadership Ministries Worldwide, is leading 2 major workshops for pastors in Nigeria over the next few weeks. He will be in Abeokuta October 3 and 4, and in Ikorodu October 16-18. Please pray for God’s hand of protection over the workshops and the participants. And for Timothy and the pastors he is training – that God’s name will be glorified through their efforts, and that many more in Nigeria will come to know Christ, as the church is mobilized and equipped to proclaim Him.

Please pray for Rev. Patras Nazir of Pakistan. Rev. Nazir trains and equips ministers throughout Pakistan, a country where only 1.6% of the population is Christian. He is shown here laying the cornerstone for a new church in Pakistan. Please pray for Rev. Nazir and the work God is doing through him: That many in Pakistan will come to know the saving grace of Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit and the faithful witness of those who minister there.

Rev. Nazir is shown here with books from Outline Bible Resources that he has translated into Urdu and is delivering to pastors and Christian leaders across Pakistan. Each week, he travels hundreds of miles across his country to minister in Christ’s name. He carries the books with him on motorcycle, public buses, and trains as he crisscrosses the country delivering them to pastors who are desperate for biblical resources.

As books are distributed in Pakistan, pastors are hungry for more resources. Rev. Nazir will be translating and printing more materials to feed the hunger for God’s Word there. Please pray that God will meet his every need as he continues to work for God’s glory.
