Pastors and leaders worldwide need access to biblically based resources that prepare them to teach.

God is at work in the world, calling pastors to reach their neighbors, community, and world with the transformative Word of God. One of the greatest challenges is the need for quality resources and training for these pastors who are called to ministry. Many have as little as 1 hour of Bible training and limited access to the training and resources they need for effective ministry.

Leadership Ministries Worldwide is building networks of partners around the world to meet this challenge. Timothy Olonade, Vice President of International Training, has built relationships with organizations across Africa and Southeast Asia, where he focuses on training pastors to train and mentor other pastors around the world. In just the past few months, he has worked with over 2,800 leaders from 30 countries!

God Moves Through Collaborative Ministries

Reaching the men and women who have been called to ministry is a God-sized task – and it is only through collaborating with like-minded organizations that we can possibly accomplish it.

Will Savell of The Grace Institute works among pastors in South and Central America who are eager to receive sound biblical and theological training. Through his connections on the ground in El Salvador, Costa Rica, Colombia, and Cuba, Leadership Ministries Worldwide is sharing The Preacher’s Outline & Sermon Bible^® with pastors who need these resources. In just the past month, more than 1,000 Spanish language books were shipped to pastors in Colombia. It is a great start, but with over 10,000 pastors requesting resources in Colombia, we are just beginning to touch the need.

Impacting Countries for Christ

As The Grace Institute reaches out to other pastors and training networks in India and Africa, Leadership Ministries Worldwide will continue to partner with them. “Collaboration is key,” Savell says. “Leadership Ministries Worldwide produces resources that preachers are hungry for.” Putting those resources in the hands of pastors on the ground in faraway places is Grace Institute’s specialty. Through our partnership, thousands of preachers worldwide will receive resources and training that empower them to impact lives, communities, and entire cultures with God’s Word.

At his day job, Gregory Lewis serves as an information technology professional. But his real job is serving Christ as a pastor of a church he planted in Tennessee. For years, Rev. Bob Patty dreamed of having a Romanian translation of The Preacher’s Outline & Sermon Bible^® to equip pastors in that country. In 2012, Rev. Patty introduced a Romanian translation of the book of Romans to a group of Romanian pastors. Their enthusiasm for the books inspired a successful translation effort that continues to bear fruit.

Partnering with Leadership Ministries Worldwide, Rev. Bill Fortner of the Timisoara Baptist Bible Institute in Romania assembled a group of Romanian pastors and seminary professors to translate more of Paul’s letters in The Preacher’s Outline & Sermon Bible^®. As the translations are completed and the books are printed, they are distributed to the men and women who preach and teach God’s Word wherever Romanian is spoken.

[fusion_text]A mere 1.6% of Pakistan’s population is Christian, but that does nothing to dampen Rev. Patras Nazir’s spirit. This visionary, energetic Christian leader has been inspired by the Holy Spirit to train and equip pastors throughout Pakistan.

As founder of Pakistan Christian Leadership Ministries, Rev. Nazir has used his English language skills to translate Outline Bible Resources into Urdu. Leadership Ministries Worldwide’s donors financed the printing of 2,000 sermon booklets based on The Preacher’s Outline & Sermon Bible^®. The demand for the books was so great that Rev. Nazir recently printed 1,500 additional books: “These resources are unique in Pakistan – such study materials are not available in Pakistan in English or Urdu.”

In just the past 2 months, he has traveled to 5 cities in different corners of Pakistan, carrying the books he has translated to train Christian pastors, church leaders and evangelists. Rev. Nazir travels by train and bus, carrying loads of books on his back or in bags, often through hostile territory.

Yet Rev. Nazir is not discouraged: “The greatest rewards of my ministry are the salvation and winning of souls for Christ through our preaching and teaching. When people invite us to return to their churches again and again, it means that God’s Holy Spirit is touching and blessing them through us.”

ROMANIA

In partnership with Frontline Fellowship, Timisoara Baptist Seminary, and Timisoara Baptist Bible Institute, a group of Romanian pastors are nearing completion of the third volume of the Romanian translation of The Preacher’s Outline & Sermon Bible^®.

TANZANIA

International Training Director Timothy Olonade assisted with a training and leadership development workshop for over 100 pastors in Tanzania. Timothy offered instruction on effective use of The Preacher’s Outline & Sermon Bible^® to help them go beyond their training so that they are fully equipped to share the gospel message in their towns and communities.

NIGERIA

Earlier this year, Timothy Olonade participated in three separate training events in Nigeria, hosted by First Baptist Church Ipaja, Christ Church Gbagada, and the Jos Province diocese of the Anglican Church. At these events, Timothy encouraged over 200 ministers in their spiritual growth and presented The Preacher’s Outline & Sermon Bible^® as a valuable resource for preaching and teaching.

HONG KONG

The Lord has begun to open doors in Hong Kong for translating and printing partnerships that present great opportunities for sharing the Gospel in China and throughout Asia. Leadership Ministries Worldwide has also been invited to participate in an Asia Conference in September to introduce our material to business and church leaders.

MYANMAR

We are exploring an opportunity with Pastor Daniel Lin Aung of Myanmar to translate The Minister’s Personal Handbook into Burmese and distribute 5,000 copies to pastors in this country where only 4% of the population is Christian.

PHILIPPINES

Missionary Marc Buxton and pastor James Macadangdang have used The Preacher’s Outline & Sermon Bible^®, along with other Outline Bible Resources to lead their churches and to provide training and leadership to other church planters in Manila. Their goal is to plant 80 more churches in metro Manila, and to provide training and mentorship to pastors attending the Baptist Bible College of Asia.

This outreach to pastors and leaders in the Philippines is happening in partnership with Megacity Ministries, Inc., Global Surge, the International Baptist Network, and Mission Increase Foundation.

COLUMBIA

Partnering with The Grace Institute, a pastoral training network, we are preparing to distribute 1,000 Spanish-language copies of The Preacher’s Outline & Sermon Bible^® to pastors in Columbia, Nicaragua, and El Salvador.

RUSSIA

Leadership Ministries Worldwide is renewing its engagement with the Slavic Gospel Association to continue translation of The Preacher’s Outline & Sermon Bible^® into Russian.

NEPAL
