“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” Isaiah 43:19

God’s Spirit is alive and moving throughout Nigeria. Tens of thousands of Christians attended this conference in northern Nigeria, where Islamic extremist groups like Boko Haram regularly terrorize local populations. Participants felt God’s presence powerfully as they worshipped and prayed together. God’s Kingdom continues to grow in Nigeria, and all over the world, as the Holy Spirit touches hearts. Thank you God for the increase!

May these Christians in Nigeria – and Christians all over the world – be overwhelmed by God’s peace, love, and grace as we celebrate the birth of Jesus, God’s own Son.

Bringing Good News!

“How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?” Romans 10:14

We invite you to pray today for those who share the Good News of Jesus Christ. Pray for those who are called to preach, and for those who minister in God’s name. Pray for those who step out boldly in the workplace, in the community, in their homes, bringing the gospel message to a lost and broken world. Pray that God will guide each one of us as we seek to live Christ-centered lives and share His love with those around us. And pray for those who hear – that God will touch their hearts.

God's Word into the World

Leadership Ministries Worldwide’s signature work, The Preacher’s Outline & Sermon Bible® is now available across a variety of digital platforms, including Wordsearch, Logos, and Accordance.

Lystra Global, LMW’s online digital library, is now available for pastors around the world. It’s estimated that up to 90% of these pastors have little or no training, and limited access to quality biblical resources. God is opening doors of opportunity for us to spread His Word to pastors across the Global South using Lystra Global. Please pray for us as we join with ministry partners to take God’s Word into the world.

Pray for God’s peace, love, and hope in a world of turmoil

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” Phil 4:6 (NIV)

As we in the United States gather at our Thanksgiving tables this week, let us be grateful for the many blessings in our lives, remembering “every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.” James 1:17 (NIV).And as we reflect on what God has done this year, let us remember those whose lives have been forever changed by worlds that are shifting – torn apart by war, tumult and destruction. Many people around the world—including our brothers and sisters in Christ—have suffered greatly this year. Many have experienced persecution, been forced to leave their homeland, been robbed of their possessions, feared for their lives, or lost loved ones.

When you offer prayers of thanksgiving, we invite you to ask God to reveal ways that you can you offer God’s hope to those who are suffering today. There is darkness in this world. But we are called to be the light of the world! Pray for those whose lives are filled with fear and uncertainty. In Romans 15:30, Paul urges the believers “to join me in my struggle by praying to God for me.”

Join us in praying for those who struggle. Then ask God how He is leading you to share His light, His love, and His hope in this lost and broken world.

Count Your Blessings

Contentment in all things through Christ

“I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do all this through him who gives me strength.”Philippians 4: 12-13

As we enter the season of Thanksgiving, we invite you to count your blessings – whether you are in need, or if you have plenty. How has God blessed you this year? As Christians, we have Christ! What greater blessing can there be?

As you count your blessings and thank God for them, remember to thank those around you who are a blessing to you. Write a note, phone an old friend, share your joy and blessings with those around you.

Sharing God's Love with Our Neighbors

Flood, drought, earthquakes, war, political strife and terrorism have uprooted people around the world. Thousands of people have died trying to leave their homeland, seeking refuge with those who will receive them. Christian ministries are reaching out to these immigrants, offering refuge, shelter, and hope, and sharing Christ’s love and the gospel message.
This week, Christian leaders from all over the world are gathering in Madrid for the Global Mission Consultation to work together on strategies to share the gospel with the Muslims who are a part of these refugee communities. Vice President of International Training for LMW, Timothy Olonade, pictured above, will be speaking on the topic of “Biblical Proactive Ministry to Muslims – Lessons from Nigeria.”

Please pray for those gathering in Madrid this week – for God’s protection in their travel and at the conference, for encouragement from one another, and for Holy Spirit enlightenment as they look at how to share Christ, especially in Muslim communities.
